Dolphins’ Alec Ingold Makes Homecoming to Green Bay’s Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving
Former Packers fullback Alec Ingold will be making an emotional return to Green Bay’s Lambeau Field on Thursday when his Miami Dolphins face the Packers. Ingold played for the Packers from 2019 to 2021, becoming a fan favorite for his hard-nosed running style and infectious personality.
A Journey of Gratitude
Ingold, who grew up just 90 miles from Green Bay, said he is grateful for his time with the Packers.”I had an amazing experience in Green Bay,” Ingold said. “The fans were incredible, and I learned so much from my coaches and teammates. I’m really looking forward to going back and seeing everyone again.”
A Place to Shine
Ingold was a key contributor to the Packers’ offense during his time in Green Bay, scoring four touchdowns and rushing for over 1,000 yards. He also played a significant role in the team’s special teams unit.
A Special Occasion
Ingold’s homecoming will be even more special because it comes on Thanksgiving Day. “It’s going to be a really special day,” Ingold said. “Playing on Thanksgiving is always a great experience, and I’m excited to share it with my family and friends who will be there.”
Future Prospects
Ingold is now in his second season with the Dolphins, and he is hoping to lead the team to a playoff berth. “We have a great team here in Miami,” Ingold said. “We’re all working hard, and we’re excited about the future.”
